Annette Barnes has many years of experience of working in the field of veterinary research and particularly in the area of canine disease genetics. She also has extensive knowledge and expertise of sample banking and archiving.
Dr Lorna Kennedy is a senior scientist in
the University of Manchester and has worked in the field of
tissue typing genetics of human populations for thirty
years. She is now internationally recognised as being an
expert in the area of companion animal genetics especially
in the field of dog and cat disease genetics. Dr Kennedy has
published extensively in these areas.
Bill Ollier is Director of the Centre for
Integrated Genomic Medical Research and is Professor of
Immunogenetics at Manchester University in the UK. He is an
international expert in the field of Genetic Epidemiology
and the underlying basis of both Human and animal complex
genetic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes.
He has published over 450 original research papers in these
areas. He is also a recognised international expert on
biological sample management and storage.
Andrew Platt is highly experienced and
senior IT and Data base designer who has had extensive
experience of working in both industry and academia as a
consultant. He is now internationally recognised for his
experience of laboratory sample tracking systems and data
security.
